Hi, my name is Nick and im looking for more info about my Omega constellation. First of al pardon my english.
    Its
The watch is my grandpa's and he inherited it around 30 years ago. He wants to sell it now and went to the juweler. They offered him the goldprice, but I told him that maybe its a collectable piece and that he shouldnt sell it for the price of the gold. I tried to find more info about it but its very hard. I went to a specialized vintage watch dealer and he also couldnt tell me exactly what it is. What year, if its rare or a price. He opened it up and there were a couple of numbers inside. These are the numbers: 354 - 13917364 - 11348300 - 265250.
With these numbers i could find only what 354 meant and for the rest the year it was made. 1952 if im right. He told me that it was in excellent condition. And for a price I had to go to a collectors fair. It also has the original 14k omega bracelet still with it. 20150408_185424.jpg 20150408_185415.jpg 20150408_185217.jpg 20150408_184930.jpg 20150408_184859.jpg
I tried to make some nice clear pictures.
Maybe there is someone here that can tell me more about it. Thank you

Welcome, 2652 is the model reference, 354 is the movement calibre

    http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-watches-database?ref=15130

1st generation Constellation, also called "arrowhead" after the index shape

Since you were offered scrap gold price assume there is a hallmark, should be on the watch and bracelet (by clasp)

Guess there may be some members here who might be interested but you can find a range by searching sold auctions on ebay

    Thank you for your reply!

Do you mean the 585 stamp on the bracelet like on the foto?
And the rest of the numbers? And is it a commen peace or rare? And the year 1952 is right ?

    Hi Nick,

The watch itself I wouldn't describe as rare as such but it is an early Constellation reference in pretty good shape. The dial looks nice and from the pictures the case looks to have been polished, but not excessively.

The bracelet is what makes the 'set' interesting though as this is relatively seldom seen and I have only seen them before in 18kt

Oke, thank you for youre response!
And If he wanted to sell it, what would be the best way? Through auction or ebay of maybe a collectors fare?
    Thank you in advance

Means 0.585% pure gold or 14kt.
