Medicus is something of a vague term IMO, and can refer to a number of different references. The dial appears to have some water damage but the watch appears to be legit at first glance, and still has some appeal overall. To give you more information, it would be very helpful to see the inside, to see if there is perhaps something special about it. We could give a rough valuation if you showed more photos from various angles and included the size of the case, but it would really be a guess.
Hi the name Medicus was used by Omega for its ref CK 651, the first Omeega model with a central second (caliber 23.4SC). Here is an add (credit AJTT) :
It appears that Omega used some names for the next 23.4 SC models (Naiad, St Christophe, Chantilly...) see for example this 1936-37 ad which presents the thre models made the year following the CK 651 :
For many years I thought CK 651 was the only model named Medicus by Omega as I had never seen any period catalog or add using it.
However I have recently seen a 1938 catalog using the name Medicus for ref CK 650, a different model. I couldn't take a scna of this 1938 catalog, but here is a picture of ref CK 650 (the one on the left) :
So now, even if I continue to think that using Medicus as the generic name for all models that have a 23.4SC inside (which even Omega does in its vintage database) is period incorrect, the name may not be exclusive to one model (CK 651) but may have been given to two or three models (including CK 651 and CK 650).
Two reasons for this conclusion :
* the 1938 catalog displayed several other models with 23.4SC inside and they weren't called Medidus, only the CK 650 was labelled as 'Medicus 650'
* there is another example of reuse of a name for different references with Naiad. Id was used for the first waterproof Omega (ref CK 2064) and also for at least six other case designs : ref 2111/2108 (same watch 2111 is with a 23.4SC and 2108 with a 23.4 non central second), ref 2109/2110 (same difference as for 2111 and 2108), 2120 (with 23.4SC), 2112 (with 26.5SOB) and 2118 (with 30mm).
