Can someone help me identify this bracelet?

Hi everyone, I have found a spare bracelet among a pile of my vintage omegas. I am trying to figure out what type of watch it was originally sold on and from what year?

I am assuming it was originally on my MKIII, however when I bought it from the prior owner it came on the mesh bracelet pictured ...

This spare bracelet was acquired in the same deal and perhaps was the original band of the MKIII... but I am unsure.

It has a 24mm lug width tapering down to a 16mm clasp.

The MKIII among other things will be listed for sale soon (shameless plug).

Apologies for the poor quality iPhone photos!

Any help is appreciated.

The 1162 came on Flightmasters, Ploprof, and the 176.xxx Seamaster and Speedmaster watches. I just bought one and am eager to get it on my 176.001 when it comes back from Mr. Freese in England!

I might measure those endlinks again - I'm pretty sure the 172 endlinks are 22mm, as I have a pair for my 176.001.

Ahh you are correct, the actual 172 end piece is 22mm - then the first link widens to 24mm then tapers down.
