Any tips for getting these out
Just learn to live with them.
Any amateur attempts at removing them will usually soften those nice edges you have there.

It can be done by removing the movement/crystal and mounting it on a lathe to polish the circular faces with solid backing blocks.
The sides can be done with polishing blocks in the same way.
This should only be done by a competent person with the right equipment.

Cape Cod ONLY on the polished surfaces and taping off any brushed surfaces pleae. And once your crystal is tiptop i use a protective sticker as i was done with polishing 3 - 5 watches every two months or so. Here is the intel ;

Here鈥檚 a pic - scratches actually look more dramatic here than in real life.

Polywatch arrived yesterday so will give it a go.

Thanks for posting a Before pic.. please can we see an 'after' shot too. As I want to give polywatch a go (also on a Chronostop;-)

Surre - tricky to get a good angle but hopefully you're able to see how the dial has polished up with Polywatch. Almost no visible scratches at all now. This was after 2 applications.

Just tried the Polywatch and am thrilled with the results. Thanks for all the advice, folks.

Next question! There are minor scuffs and scratches on the case. Any tips for getting these out (aside from silver polish wadding - thanks, MRC). Would you recommend Cape Cod polishing cloths?

Thanks again - really appreciate all your expertise.
