Can you post what buckles you prefer and think match up best for your 105003s please. I read the buckle thread a few weeks back but still can't decide. Any pics of your favourite Ed buckles appreciated. I have two and can't decide which one suits it better.

The 1st pic is the buckle mounted in the 2nd pic.. and the 3rd pic is a buckle I picked up today, more softer and rounded with a thicker bridge and different O. Do you think both examples suit mid 60s ? Thanks!

I can only wish to someday own a 105.003 but I like the second bracelet, looks a little more vintage to me.

The correct bracelet for the 105.003 would be a 7912 with #6 end links, but as it happens, this one is - the 1039 isn't made for the straight-lug models as it widens to 20mm and is intended for 20mm end links, but when I bought my 105.003 it came on a 1039 with shaved end links. It looks and wears very similar to the correct 7912 bracelet though, and I love it - this was actually where my love affair with the stretch-link bracelets began!

Nice, thank you. So the only difference between the 1039 and the 7912 is that one ends at 20 mm and the other at 19 mm? Is the only difference between the 516 and the 6 end links the same, one is 20 and one is 19?

Basically. 7912/6 is also a bit more expensive..

I keep on thinking about Buckle Up commercials from the 70's, maybe I need more things to occupy my mind... Unlike Smitty

1035 with 506 endlinks also correct for later straight lugs. That is the 19mm version of the 1039.
