Can I fix the clasp on my 1266/237 bracelet?

Hi all.

Recently I've been wearing my PloProf on a NATO but I want to rock it on the shark mesh as well.
The problem is that my clasp is not being held down after securing it-

I used a little rubber band to hold it in place but I want a more permanent (and safer) fix.

I'm pretty good with tools but not sure how to tackle this, I think it's a matter of the spring popping out of place and all is needed is to put it back.
The other spring that applies the pressure to the lock works fine.
What tools do I need and how can I take this apart?
Should I just take it to a watchmaker? (would have to wait due to my country entering its 3rd lock down🤦)

Thanks.

I think it's a matter of the spring popping out of place and all is needed is to put it back.

The spring being out of place was also my assessment. I fiddled some, but did not “push it” to see if I might re-place it.

On my separate thread about this same problem, @Archer says omega do not supply parts and the clasps aren’t reparable.

For me this means:

(1) I can take a crack at re-placing that spring and not worry about losing anything, but

(2) will I ever have confidence in those seat belt clasps again?

Now I need to hunt for alternative clasps ...

Yes, I also messaged him in private after I had 0 responses here and he told me the same thing.
The replacement claps should be around $100 according to him, my plan is to get one.
