Yes I would agree that it’s the 2551.80 which is the mid size 36mm Bond Auto. Worth approx 2/3 to 3/4 of the full size. I am not a massive fan of these, not because of the case size, 36mm wears fine, but because the thickness of the bezel robs a lot of dial real estate on the mid size model leading to stumpy hands. Personally I much prefer the fuller dial on the 41mm version.

Oh and if you buy that, don’t assume it will be waterproof any more, get it checked or ideally fully serviced, there is quite a bit of grime on the caseback seal so I doubt it’s been serviced recently.

First the serial number you gave is not what is on the movement, as that appears to be 80818208, or possibly 80818203.

    Serial number:80818208
    Article ref: 25013100
    Version of movement: 1120

    Serial number:80818203
    Article ref: 25518000
    Version of movement: 1120

I would just check to make sure the serial number is the same on the case (I can't read it well) as it is on the movement, and if it's the latter one above the watch appears legit.

    Cheers, Al

That was definitely my first thought was getting it serviced. I have it on hold. I was going to pick it up Thursday. In the mean time I've been looking for someone who services omega watches. :)

If that's the case, then it's not a 2551800, but a completely different watch and I wouldn't buy it.

It’ll be 8203, you are reading it wrong. The chances of a swapped movement being 5 digits aware are slim to none unless it was a factory mix up. Much more likely its a misread. The watch is likely straight, Al has confirmed that one possible reading of digits is correct, it’ll be that.

I could have read it wrong. I don't have the best eyesight Shirley a legit jewelry store wouldn't have bought it if it was fake. But I'm still debating on the to 2531 as it's bigger
