Can anyone share his thoughts about my Seamaster 2937-5 ?

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Two months ago, I found an Omega Seamaster 2937-5 in an old drawer. I took it to a specialist to service it and be informed about its condition. He said that the dial was not repainted but I highly doubt that because I cannot find any 2937-5 looking like mine (it is 34mm). I'd like your opinion on the matter as well as some information about the specific model, like its rarety, price, etc. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the dial is repainted. The crown and caseback don’t look original as well. Never seen a caseback with the seamaster text and hippocampus logo like this.

So I guess I wasted 200 euros to service/clean the watch. I've seen some casebacks like mine in other models. He was supposed to be an expert about servicing Omega, Rolex, etc. that's why I trusted his opinion.

Th 2 at12 does not appear to be positioned right , or the sub second is off line, need to see the inside of the caseback and movement as well.

I will provide you the requested information tomorrow that I will have the watch back from service. Sub seconds alerted me as well but i trusted what the service guy told me cause of their reputation.

Omega Vintage database says the 2937 has a caliber 267 in it, which is sub seconds. So that part is at least correct.
