Can anyone recommend a watchmaker or bench jeweler in Atlanta?

Hi OF! I just picked up a vintage 1479/812 Speedy bracelet in excellent condition and I need to get one of the 812 endlinks filed so it fits properly. I've thought about doing it myself but I think I'd rather hire a professional for the job just in case I screw something up and it's too loose or I scratch the hell out of a lug, etc. A fellow Speedy fan overseas who helped me source the bracelet suggested I get a bench jeweler to help. I have no clue what that is or how to find one.

Any recommendations on who to go to from any of the Atlanta people here? Thanks in advance for the help!

I believe a "bench jeweler" is a jeweler who makes jewelry rather than one who just sells it. Sorry I don't know anything about Atlanta.

I believe you are correct. I need someone who can file a tab on the endlink so that it aligns to the holes for the springbar properly yet still fits flush and snug as a bug in a rug.

Thanks for the recommendation. I sent him a note.

Anyone else have a recommendation? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
