It looks like the logo that Rockwell used on their scientific and oil tool equipment. Maybe the watch was a company bonus, they used to hand out some big tickets in the 70's. Them and Hughes, my employer for awhile.

 

Yep deffo Rockwell, maker of the B1 bomber and countless more mundane items.
