Can anyone let me know if this is authentic?

Please can someone let me know if this a fake or not from pictures supplied.. serial number 17089060

Really not enough information to say with certainty. You need pictures of the inside and case back.
FWIW - the blue card lists a calibre 267. Since the watch has central seconds hand it cannot be a 267 movement which should have a sub-seconds hand.

thanks. the card with it states "ref 13339 - serial 17089060 - calibre 267 " does this make it less likely ro be authentic as you mentioned a 283. apologies I know very little abou these things.

That card was written by someone who I don't know and don't trust much.
I only look at the watch and comment from my own experience.
I have to look at the movement conditions to tell you how much it is worth.

Well 9kt gold outside of the UK, Australia etc. countries is not even considered real gold. Min. is 10kt

Add in the Dennison made case

One sold on Ebay recently for GBP 268.50, but yours is a little nicer
