I was looking at some BIN prices on Pie Pans recently as I'm in the process of selling and came across this beautiful thing with a mesh bracelet... What I want to know is where can I find these mesh bracelets? They look lighter and more comfortable on the wrist, and being slightly more hair-suit than average I would want something similar that didn't give me a wrist Brazilian every time I wore it ! (That ones for the ladies out there! ) Please can somebody direct me so that I don't need to trawl through to find which member owns which watch?? Thanks again guys! ps. I tried to find WTB when creating this thread on my iPad but it wasn't in the little drop down box?
Don't know about the mesh bracelet, sorry...........but......... that's a beautiful pie pan, isn't it?...........
For sure! I love that vintage cream dial especially in a steel case. It looks even better on all stainless bracelet!
I have heard a few good reviews of these from StrapCode http://www.strapcode.com/store/18mm-below-mesh-band-c-130.html?infoBox=1 They have most lug sizes and styles. The Proplof style is popular among divers. BTW, Wrist Brazilian is a good one
I think I have an original Omega one of these at home. As far as I can remember they are originally for the Geneve Chronostop with 18mm. I found mine on Ebay for around 80-90 euro.
The mesh bracelets are very comfortable, but you have be careful as some will give you that "Brazilian". My Seiko Automatic from 1974 is a hair-puller, but my IWC from 1972 isn't. Both are original as far as I can tell: Seeing a mesh band with a Pie-Pan Constellation just seems wrong to me. Like seeing James Dean in a leisure suit. gatorcpa
