I have a photo of an Omega Watch without any name and only info of back is Stainless Steel and 829. The mechanism has no name on it either. I saw it on ebay and I am curious
Nothing in those pictures ever came from Omega. You can add that random collection of bits to this thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/is-this-watch-real-or-fake-thread-aka-fake-busters.43911/
Yes, I can. It's a counterfeit/fake with a generic movement, probably from the 1950s/1960s. Movement is an AS1130, these were never used by Omega. At least this one isn't stamped or engraved "OMEGA" or Ω like some other fake watches.
Run away as fast as you can. You can find similar fakes here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/don...omegas-post-them-here-not-for-questions.6235/ edit: now added to the hall of fakes.
Vintage fake, funny to think the counterfeit trade goes back a ways in time, but the swiss faked american pocket watches over a hundred years ago...so its continuing a tradition of counterfeiting!
