Hello everyone at the Omega forum.

I just bought a watch. And I am wondering what type of Omega watch this is.
The background story is that this watch was inherited to the seller from his aunt who got it from her brother.
The seller told me that this Omega watch was a gift for the first owner for his 18 or 20th birthday. This was around 1959. This watch, I was told, is original from Wales.

I think the watch is beautiful and it runs smooth.
But i can't figure out what type of Omega watch this is.
I have pictures off the inside and outside of the watch.

If someone knows anything, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks!
Christopher

It's simply a "Gents Solid Gold Cased Manual Wind Omega" with a caliber 610 and it is a British made 9 carat case hallmarked in London in 1961.

Not all of the Omega line had "model" names, and there are many that are simply an "Omega".

It's a very nice watch and is in need of a service, evident by the position of the regulator.

Thank you, JimInOz😀
Now I like my new, old Omega even more.
And thank you for the tip about the service from looking at the regulator. I will take it to my lokal watchmaker for a overhaul.
