I would really appreciate if anyone could help with a Speedmaster..
Seller says it's a ST145.022-74 and has a 29 million serial number..
But you can see in the caseback photo it shows 145.022-76 ST.. And in the movement it doesn't seem to have 29xxxxxx written..
And bezel seems to be the wrong one for this reference

It's hard to see some of the details from those pictures but what do you want to know?

As you say, the case ref is different to what the seller quotes and although I can't make out the serial with complete certainty, it doesn't look like a 29xxxxxx. If it is, it's wrong for this ref. the bezel is also fairly modern.

Time to walk away unless the seller can provide some answers.

 

The serial number appears to be 395xxxxx which would be correct for a 76. the dial font would also be correct for that reference I believe.

 

Sounds like the seller might just have mixed up some of their pictures and descriptions then.

 

It also has replacement end links, they're not omega.

 

The seller actually said end links are not original. I forgot to say that.
He is a big and respectable collector and seller here in Brazil, It could be that he just mixed up the numbers.
So if it is a ST145.022-76 (as written on the caseback), the watch seems to be ok ? Bracelet, clasp, dial (based in my research they are), bezel, movement and caseback ?

Bracelet is a correct vintage 1171. Easy enough to get correct replacement 633? End links.

 

Lume doesn't look great. You have a better dial shot?

It doesn't appear to have a nice yellow patina as these dials, when they are in good condition, usually have This may be entirely related to the camera angle. Here is a similar era dial (disregard the bezel however) showing a nice yellow patina at the lume plots and hands.

 

The lume plots do look a little dark green ish. Possible moisture damage?

 

This would be a matter of preference, right?

 

And what about the big letters bezel ? Surely right ?
