My dad recently found this Omega while cleaning through some boxes and decided to give it to me. I was just wondering if anyone knew what year this watch came from, if it's gold or gold-plated, and if it's even authentic? Thanks for your help! IMG_9786.JPG IMG_9788.JPG IMG_9787.JPG

I will reserve expressing an opinion until you give us more information. Please show us what is inside the case. And also what printing is inside the case back. The case back doesn't look Omega to me. And the watch is NOT karat gold, and nor is the bracelet. The bracelet is marked with the Omega symbol on the buckle, but it is a lousy fit on the watch. I am very suspicious!

I'm not really sure how to open the back and I think I would ruin it. I'll try to take it somewhere to get it opened when I come home from school. Can anyone tell me anything else?

Not really. Any watchmaker can open the case for you in under 10 secs flat

What size does it have? Looks like a women watch ? Looks ok to me . Search Omega, deville, women, 1980,automatic and see what you find?
