Can't tell you what model or value without pictures, but it sounds like a tank styled watch.

I have a green car with a trunk and 2 doors. It's got 4 wheels and my father bought it back in the 60's. What kind is it and how much is it worth?

Couldn't be. Ford didn't make the Maverick until 1970.

Maybe this is what you had in mind?

I mean, it's a car, was made in 1960's and has 2 doors and a trunk.

    Okay, some problems:

    1) Quite often the age of a watch is misjudged.
    2) That car, while possibly made in the 60's, has no doors - and I'd need a better picture to make a call on the trunk.
    3) Is that even a Ford?

    :p:p:p

You certainly are 100% correct that this thread is worthless without pictures. ;) I'll go a step further:

Actually, it's a pic of a 1st series Hot Wheels '68 Chevy Camaro in lime green. When I was 7, it was considered groovy, man.

You never specifically said it was a Ford. :D That was Steve.

    Thereby proving my point,

    Okay, you win!

I'll even forgive you for using the word 'groovy' despite it being 2012. :taunt:

Well, that's what we would have said in 1968, man.

I have attached photos of the rose gold watch. I know it is a 17 jewel and has been serviced 11 times in it life. 129794 on the back of the case and 9198230 on the watch itself.

Interesting, you sure its rose gold and not just 9K? A lot of 9K from that era looks rose coloured.

OK. Now we are getting somewhere...

The number 9,198,230 on the movement is the serial number of the movement. Dates from the mid-1930's. My guess on the case is that it is not solid gold, but gold filled and made for the US market. A solid gold case would have some kind of hallmarking if European, or a karat marking (14K, 18K, etc.) if US made.

The number on the case was likely made by the local manufacturer, not Omega.

Without photos of the inside of the case, I'm really just guessing here.

I've had several of these in the past they were gold-filled.

You can clearly see wear-through on the corner of the case back and lugs.

Back looks like an inscription may have been removed.

Dial has been poorly refinished as well.

As is $150.00, perfect maybe $325.00.

You should be banned for even posting a picture of a Maverick. Hideous.
