back in the days the letter Omega was also used by the camera industry to name their products.
as far I remember:
- Toyo in Japan : Omega-View 4x5.
- Konica in Japan : KONI-OMEGA rapid 6x7.
- Simmon in the US : OMEGA enlargers.

The Greek Omega letter has mainly be used by student associations
