Calling Eterna-Matic Kontiki enthusiasts for help

Hi all
I could do with some help with this Eterna-Matic KonTiki
There are a couple of issues with it:
1. The bezel is pretty much "welded" onto the case. I have a replacement bezel and insert to go, but to get this one free has become problematic. My watchmaker will most likely have to remove the movement and the plexi to get to it. This leads to a possibility that the plexi might crack and it's original.
***So, is finding an original plexi pretty much out of the question and if that is the case, can I find an aftermarket to fit? Whitescrystals in California does amazing work in creating crystals, so that could be an option I guess.

2. the crown stem and the tube are both Threaded

I have a correct crown with stem, but the tube is problematic, I guess. Any thoughts on what to do?

What movement were used in these - I believe it was late 1960s - has a 130 FTP case

Thanks in advance

No idea what the availability of crystals are for these, but amongst watchmakers in the US, I see White’s often quoted as the go to source if a crystal can’t be found.

Having said that I’m not sure what removing the crystal would help. Typically with a very stuck bezel I would remove the movement and run the case through an ultrasonic bath to loosen the dirt that is under the bezel, and that usually solves the problem and allows the bezel to be removed.

Thanks, Al

I managed to snag an original crystal from a mate who had one in his little magic bag of parts - luckily the plexi didn't crack and I can use that plexi I bought on another Kontiki.

By removing the movement and putting it through an ultrasonic bath did the trick. Lots of wabi.

What is interesting is the process to remove the bezel

Found a crown and stem, now all I need is to find a tube. 🙄

For those interested, the movement is an Eterna 1489K movement, (very early ETA) and if you are familiar with ETA movements, you can already see the similarity. I read that Eterna developed a number of ETA movements,
