    I'm sorry to bother you Dennis but with great power (and, knowledge) comes great responsibility and you sir are one of the top Longines vintage experts out there, whether you like it or not.

    I need your opinion as to whether or not the attached is an original dial. Seller says yes but something doesn't look quite right but I really don't know what I'm doing and you do.

    add another delicious adult beverage to your tab if you mange to make make it to one of my places...

    That's a refinished dial - you can tell by the font of LONGINES and the imperfect spacing of the minute / second track (look near the 3:00 marker). Some sellers will say it's original if the slab of metal is the original one, or if they didn't have it refinished. It's semantics.
