    What if you look up a reference number on the Omega database and the caliber is different than what is actually in the watch? Frankenstein?

    The OVD is full of mistakes and generalizations, but it would certainly set off an alarm to me if there is a contradiction.
    Can you give/show us some particulars?
    There are folks here (not me) with much knowledge .

    Like a 14905 having a 552 instead of the 550 listed? Also the picture in the OVD says Deville but isn't specified on the description... The OVD seems unreliable then.

    550 would be in this reference if delivered to the US as 24-jewel watches were hit with a much higher import duty.

    OVD is at best a tool but certainly not a bible.
