Just curios while enjoying my new Seamaster if the rotor on this movement is suppose to swing around freely. Even if I try to swirl my watch in hand I can never really get it to do a full circle. Is this normal? Also does the rotor charge bidirectionally? Most of my other ETA/Selitta rotors swing about quite freely especially my Valjoux 7750.

Yes it charges bidirectionally, 7750 does not however.

How freely the rotor swings will depend on how wound the mainspring is. If it's fully wound, the rotor will not swing as freely.

The 7750 rotor spins freely in one direction since it only winds in one direction - this is what leads to the "7750 wobble" that people speak of.
