I like them as well, and that appears to be an even more uncommon gold bezel version. I found one recently with a different dial variation, though have no photos yet.

I have a few of these, I saw one during a meeting with Tom and fell in love with it, he's mad on these vintage Chronometre's now and has turned me to them too. These early 333's I like more than some of the later bumpers as they wear nice and feel large, especially on my big wrists.

I love that style. Mine is a bit younger, but I wear it often:

You sure that's a 333? If so, it should have a "Chronometre" dial. If not, it's likely a 332, the non-chronometre brother, which are also quite nice.

No, its a 351 (I think). Similar case style, about 1947.

Another bumper #352, just for fun ;)

And yes... no chronometre on the dial and no Seamaster writing.

The model number is on the inside of the caseback. Do you have a picture of it?

There's little info on this, but it's a dual reference model with 4 variations: two chronometers and two non-chronometers. It's a large size watch at 36mm with a lot of dial variations as well, some Seamaster some no Seamaster. I have the centre second chronometer Seamaster version of this.

I believe the box you have is correct for this watch.

    My poor 333 is homeless.

It's a shame as the Centenary 2500 case was most likely melted down.

And since others are posting theirs, here is my 352. Too bad it is redialed.

How about one in solid gold? This is the only redial in my entire collection. Grudgingly accept it because of the rarity of the applied plank and the simplicity of the dial. IMG_0065.JPG

I thought of collecting these abandoned dials and movements, but you've already started it :D

This is a later replacement dial - not a redial. Watchco still sold it a few years back. The 352 above yours also has a replacement dial, incorrect though.

I think it is a shame that these cases were melted down. At least they did not know about the dial on my 333! I like to save hopeless causes.

Thank you for the info on my 352 dial being a replacement. I did not recognize it as one, but I could tell it wasn't quite right. I am more comfortable with it being a replacement than a redial. Thanks for commenting!
