I picked up this three hander, expecting it was a 263, but opened it up and it's a 267. Case size is 34mm. Whats the difference between sweep seconds 263s and 267s? I know the 267 is base for other variations, including calendar complications if I remember correctly? And I think it's marginally bigger compared to the 263. But I'm not sure why they would use a 267, was it a newer version or replacement of the 263? bonus shot, that second one, if you zoom in, has an amazing batch of vintage case grime !
I take it you've seen the Ranfft specs: Cal 263. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Universal_263& Cal 267. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Universal_267&
yes I have seen those, thanks. I guess I was wondering, if you have two watches, basically same case size, why UG would put a 263 in one and a 267 in the other? I tend to see a lot more 263s, so just curious what the logic was/is.
