This is why you keep track of your dibs list, whether it's by saving the PM's, printing them, or writing a list. A WTF member has had dibs on one of my watches for months, and said he'd be ready to buy it in March (big bonus due to him then) so I agreed to sell it then. As far as I'm concerned, I get 3 more months of wearing it before I have to surrender it. By then, I should have another watch back from service that a member here has designs on, and maybe I'll have enough stashed away to go Chopard 1860 or Breguet 5130 (or similar).
That's a good idea. I should reorganize my desktop too...you should see it. You can barely make out the background with all the pictures floating around.
Hey that's not a bad idea.............. Mods....... can we add this feature in the Forum market place?
If the watch has made it to the sales forum, dibs are probably long gone in most cases. We usually send a PM to the holder of dibs on a watch and give them first right of refusal. However, you know the saying: Cash is King! You can call dibs on everything but if you can't pay somebody else gets it.
