I am offering for sale my Buttes Watch Company BWC panda chronograph from the late 1960s, serviced by Simon Freese in January this year.

Description

The watch was bought by myself last year in as new condition. It was opened for the first time in January 2021 by Simon Freese, who carried out a full service on the Valjoux 72 movement. The watch is in amazing condition as can been seen. It still has the remnants of the plastic case covering attached to the case back.

The stainless steel case is a great size at 38mm, the lugs are 18mm. The bi-direction bezel is unmarked, as is the dial and hands that have developed a beautiful caramel patina. The screw down case back retains a perfect factory brush with crisp clear engravings. The strap was handmade for the watch, and is also unworn.

The famous Valjoux72 is buttery smooth and all functions work as you would expect following a full service.

These panda dial Buttes are very hard to find, let alone in this condition. I have only seen a handful offered for sale.

The pictures speak for themselves and form part of the description. Please ask any questions you may have.

The service dates from January 15th 2021 so has the remainder of the 12 month mechanical warranty.

拢2695.00 plus associated shipping/insurance costs. U.K 拢19.95 Royal Mail S.D insured. Please request a quote for EU/ROW.

Thank you.
