    Hey guys,

About to send my bank transfer through to a seller on chrono24 for a speedy 3570.50.

Is there anything I should be aware of before the bank wire transfer?

Should I ask for feedback from the seller?
    Return policy?
    Etc

    Thanks guy!

    Jack

Yes, you should be aware that you have no protection when you pay with a bank transfer.

Feedback? Return policy? Nah, why bother. Best to just send a blank check and let the seller fill in the correct amount.

    (Please note: this is sarcasm.)

Chrono 24 doesn't seem to vet sellers any more than ebay pretends to.

It's worse than that, actually. They allow sellers to list anonymously. Outrageous.

Yes, but the seller always needs to be registered with full details at Chrono24. So they will have his info when there is a dispute.

Remember, always buy the seller, not the watch. Try to find out who the dealer is and vet them by trying to find reviews or forum search or their website.

Chrono24 has a service built in where they kind-of work as an escrow. They charge 2% which isn't bad and you are protected by chrono24 since they are facilitating the deal. Bankwire is scary to an anonymous entity, but I've had realative success with using chrono24 w. paypal.

@ikeo1 , how does that work? I've not stumbled across that option before (though haven't bought anything of c24 either).

Who is the seller?. I've bought watches from a few chrono24 sellers. Most are good. Last one was a disaster

Clockwise of Vienna. Look in my post of a couple a days ago on dealer reviews.
Lying aholes. In the end they held my money for a month and I lost a couple hundred $ in bank fees and foreign exchange fees
