    Hi There,

So I'm looking to buy my first ever Omega from private seller. It looks authentic (to me anyway), but hoping you could tell me if it has any signs of being fake?
    Serial number begins with 6050xxxx[IMG]

    Cheers,
    A.

Looks authentic with the quality of photos you have posted.
Does it come with the strap and bracelet?

Authentic indeed, not too old of a seamaster too by the intensity of the lume.

Bezel looks clean, I would say it's a good buy. What is the price and does it come with any papers?

Age has nothing to do with it, Superluminova lume stays like that pretty much indefinitely. I have a 2255 from 1998 which is exactly the same.

    I see..

Either way 10 years isn't that old. My opinion still stands and the watch looks stunning.

Absolutely. In fact I checked back on the serials of a few of my watches and 60.5m is a bit older than I thought, it is likely circa year 2000

The SM300 still looks new from the photos, it's a testament to how long these watches can really last when they're cared for.

If I were in the OP's shoes I would definitely buy the watch, it has that either 'left in a vault for 10 years' or well cared for look.

They really got it right with the 2254.
