Seller is looking to sell for 1200CAD.

Looking for my first vintage omega, originally wanted a constellation from the 50s or 60s but think that those are out of my budget at the moment. Thoughts on this Seamaster?

I am new here as well, but I am somewhat suspicious about the dial. It seems like the 'G' in 'OMEGA' might be off; and the two 'e's appear to be different in 'Seamaster', which is troubling.

Combined with the reasons mentioned above, it seems like this might not be a good choice.

Quite a rare dial variant a 'Tapestry Dial' in -as it seems- very good condition

It's a pity that the case is worn, crown is wrong

I think the dial is in original condition, should be very difficult to redo it

The dial is uncommon and interesting, but if I am seeing what I think I am seeing, the case is in very poor condition. The best use of this would be to transplant the dial into a better case.
