I have been looking at new arrivals that are posted on a website called Bob's Watches. I wanted to make sure they are a good place to buy from. Has anyone here purchased a watch from them?

The other place you should visit is the Private Sales thread on this forum

Bob's Watches is a trusted source and they have been around for a long time. I personally wouldn't hesitate if you are thinking about purchasing a watch from them. If you're looking to buy a used Omega they have plenty to choose from. Here is the page: https://www.bobswatches.com/omega/ My personal recommendation (if you're new to Omega) would be the Seamaster or Speedmaster. Both are good watches but very different in style and function.

Reputable place to buy mediocre examples at inflated prices.

Dan is correct. Skip Bob's and check the private watch sales forum here frequently. Good used examples of Omegas and other brands come up for sale all the time at fair prices. If you find something that you like, don't hesitate to post a thread in the vintage watch sales forum asking for other members to help you evaluate it if you have any questions.
