I was screening our local 'craiglist' and saw an ad selling 100 Valjoux 7750 mouvement (new)...
So I was just wondering who could be interesting to buy 100 valjoux 7750...watchmakers? who else?
Stupid question ...but sometimes the day is long....

 

If they were sensibly priced, then they would be great for making a small custom watch run. It's something I have thought about on occasion. Out of interest, how much are they asking ?

 

Frei has nice cases for 7750's

This has been briefly talked about before and was shut down relatively quickly with the reasoning essentially being "not the OF style"

It appears that he is willing to sell individual movements, but the photos are small and the dial side has no pictures.
Some research later, I might buy directly from Alibaba or other reliable asian dealers.

 

So are we doing this?!?! Any thoughts on a case?
