Still a good-looking speedy, but a bit on the expensive side for a Mitsu mod for sure...

Thanks Darren 😀

But the Authenticity is Guaranteed by Ebay! It says so right in the corner of the auction! 😉

While I've not bought anything from eLady myself, I thought that the seller had a fairly decent reputation for selling watches out of Japan - mostly dealing in bulk, and accepts returns for 30 days. It could be that they were duped as well. Yes, yes, I have rose colored glasses.

The real eLady is eLady01---13,000+ sales on eBay, 99.5% feedback, great seller. The person offering this watch was eLady05, who even went so far as to put up a one-page fake eBay storefront copied from eLady01. Unbelievable.

eLady is a large pre-owned luxury goods dealer in Japan and seems to use a series of "eLady00" accounts, not just eLady01.

The company is based in Tokyo - https://www.elady.co.jp/contact-e.html

I think the watch may have been pulled because they found out it wasn't kosher.

They're currently showing a range of watches under eLady06.

They had the watch listed on their site as well. Figured the fact that it had a warranty card unfilled was a red flag on this specific watch.

The warranty card was filled. They just blocked out the details.

Is it the same watch? This time it’s eLady01.

Yes same watch. I noted the serial.

I am a newbie in speedmaster - once a dial and the hands are changed - running a serial number is the only way to tell that watch is not original 3570.31?

Yes.

And it's the same for all limited editions where dials and hands have been available as spare parts... The 2004 racing is also deserving scrutiny when coming to the market...
