Hi, A local watch dealer in Sweden will sell this watch to me for 1000$, wanted to ask what you guys think? Does it look ok? Overpolished?
Dont know much about these, so wait for an expert to comment soon. Suspicious about the rotor being a slightly different colour (at least it is on my ipad), and no inside case back photo

It looks to me like an original dial. However one has to be especially careful with black dials from this era. We would need hi-res images of the dial for a more informed opinion. Regarding the case - well it looks rough. Looks at the lugs and you will notice heavy nick and gauges that were heavily polished. If the dial is original then 500$ would be a good price. Hope this helps.
The dial looks good, the hands are nice. Black face dials which are original do command a premium price. The rear faces of the lugs are good which is often not so, but the tops are a bit chewed up. The case has probably been polished up a bit but it's not awful and the Seamaster logo is crisp, as is the screw-on caseback. I don't see any ugly scars from ham-fisted opening attempts. Generally, the watch is in fairly nice condition. The 562 is, along with the 552 (non-calendar version), one of the very best Omega calibres - my 552 is stunning, it winds itself brilliantly on the slightest movement and keeps superb time to within 3s a day. The Americans will all say that the price is too high. Here in the UK $1,000 USD comes out at £666 GBP which would be high but not crazy high. If it is coming from a proper jeweller, has been serviced by them and has a 12 month warranty to go with it then that would be just about OK, in my book. Without the service and the warranty, not so good. So there is your bargaining counter. Good luck John
