First time in this forum- great that you offer some advise buying vintage pieces, really appreciate your thoughts.
What do you think of this Omega Seamaster 30- 286 cal?

Price around 900 euros- pre- negotiation

Bad redial, overpolished case, not worth a third of the asking price.

 

So it is a 286 with the normal sweep
Second and à sub second! First Time si see this kind of monster! I guess someone put the dial and the second wheel of a 26X in this 286. Or maybe there is only a second hand somehow fitted in the dial.

Anyway, it is not worth a penny - well maybe 50 euros for the movement.
