·Hi All,
I recently visited an Omega Boutique and wanted to try the new seamasters divers, I was disappointed to see that the new line of SMPs are way too big and look bulky on my wrist, I have asked if they had some old SMPs from an old stock. The gentleman came back with a beautiful SMP 21230412001003, new, I think it had the top sticker removed and the watch was running. The price is just below 3000£ new, the sales representative confirmed that was one of the last produced from 2017. I had a look around on the web and cannot find a new one with that price, used 21230412001003 go close to 3000£ and even more, the watch has cal 2500D, I have asked and the warranty will be 5 years.
I am not sure when a new seamaster will come out, not even sure if it will be smaller considering the sizes of the new movements. Will this be considered a good investment for the next few years, considering the watch’s age and movement and buying this watch in 2021? Do you folks have an opinion on this?
Any response will be much appreciated.
