    Hi all!

In my search of a nice Omega Constallation I stumbled upon this one. It unfortunately does not come with the original strap. I was wondering what your opinion is.. is it correct? The pictures are not crip enough to be able to do the MO(Y)-test. It is up for sale for EUR 450. Thanks in advance!

I like it, the watch overall looks to be in very nice shape. Particularly the steel case which looks to still have some nice sharp edges.
    I would buy at 450 Euros:thumbsup:

Haha! It is just that I currently have sufficient funds available, but face the possibility of losing my job later this year. I might want to sell it at that time, though I hope it wont be necessary. I am definately NOT buying it to make a profit! I have been searching for one of those in SS for too long.

Thanks for your advice. I hope there are not many other buyers, for the price may rise quite a bit I am afraid. Should there be a logo imprinted in the glass? This is the case with my geneve.

I was just busting your stones. We do that a lot around here - even after you're a regular.

If that watch is available at 450 then I would try to close the deal now. Like this very minute ;)

Close the deal and get yourself that watch man! Sounds like you deserve it.

    It's 450 Eur, which resembles roughly 620 USD. :)

If this is on eBay, then there will be competition and this price won't hold.

If you can get it now at that price, do it and worry about the profit later.

But if you persist, you win. I called him up and told him that I want to buy it. It turns out he did not sell it yet and he promised to put it on hold for me. The next 24 hours he will time it (to see how it runs) and if it turns out good he'll sell it to me for the beforementioned price.

He also told me that it has had no service in the last 8 years, so I'll need to get it serviced. I estimate that at about EUR 150, does that sound about right?

Good result, but if you really want it then maybe you should just buy it as is. You never know if someone else is going to ring him and offer 550.
About 150, a bit more or a bit less is about right for a good service.
Good luck with closing the deal
