Ah nice micro rotor. I had forgotten that Buren also used these.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but given the topic name is pretty much the same...does the Grand Prix below seem right to you guys? The dial seems very similar to the one shown in @Screwbacks pic from a while back. I'm considering this one as a nice historical vintage piece for the collection if I can snag it for less than 100 USD; does anyone think I should be willing to go higher?

i may be bias, but no doubt that would be steal for such a nice gp buren. would not think twice. love the picture of the caliber you've got there with three bridges. good luck.

It had a chrome-topped case. Steel is far more desirable, and it would be worth paying extra for a full steel case.

In other words, I would argue that your were lucky. 😉

I'm taking up this old thread again , but I really need to know if anyone can tell me how old this Büren Grand Prix could be. 40' or early 50'?
Bought it on an auction and are really happy with it
