Can someone tell me if there's any difference in these two watches, other than the $2000+ price difference I'm finding online? I picked up this Bulova at a NAWCC show for $500.

Wow, you did well. Especially for a watch show.

I think they have the same movement 7733? 500 bucks? You did great! I’d take the Bulova all day long. Much cooler. Solid upside. Plus you got the bracelet.

Bulova is a seriously under rated make with a pretty good history of innovation and quality. The watch collector world doesn't seem to take them seriously, or any of the other now defunct American makes actually.

Sometimes I find crazy good deals on vintage at the NAWCC shows. Just today I found a 1955 Bulova at a flea market, 23 jewels, 6 adjustments to 3 temperatures, for just $30. Nothing crazy, but seems like there's not much appreciation for the American brands.

I suspect Bulova will have its day.

Here’s an ad for your watch.

I have the exact same piece dated “L6” for 1956. I can’t get the back open on mine, so it is good to know that it has the “flying B” rotor.

    Thanks,

$95.00, LOL. You could almost buy a Rolex for that price in 1956.

And you could buy an Omega or Longines.

But then as now, I’m sure there was some discounting going on.

Well bought. The Pricedifference is the Name on the dial. I like the Bulova more here. Lovely orange accents.
