I found this box for buckles, it's <$25 locally, used to be around $10 but people hyper inflate prices beyond fx inflation

My current imperfect idea is to get another one of these and just push bracelets into the rows along with half milanese bracelets (as seen in the picture)

Can't find a good solution for the NOS leather straps I collected though, and don't want to ruin them by putting them inside a PU leather case

Is there an easy solution, preferrably internationally available and affordable / scalable (or stackable)?

Asks about a display box to nonchalantly show off his impressive buckle collection :D

I bought an orange leather box that holds individual straps/bracelets.

Yes, I have seen that storage box as well on Amazon. Kinda, Tempting. Could be great for straps like you said!

If I had one, I would stain it so it would have a Cherry wood type of finish.

Thank you for the inspirations, I wonder whether there's another hobby out there that has display boxes ideal for the task - maybe art related, plastic display boxes

I have this similar to @WYO_Watch 's box:

Yours look great, mine is very flimsy though, it's like one of those 3D kids wood puzzles

Looking deeper I found this rosary bead storage solution:

    The columns are 2.5cm wide

It's $50+ - more than what it's worth and I don't like the pattern used, pitch black outside would've been nice - but I guess I'm going to go ahead with this one

So far checked out lure boxes, brush boxes, none of them were up for the task :)

I ended up buying a non-display box with 2 tables and a white interior, cheapest option around $30 and I really wanted a black exterior, so it was the only option

To my luck it arrived with a taupe + black exterior!

I definitely need another one though, and after my purchase price jumped to $45 and I suspect it'll be white interior this time, I guess I'll contact the manufacturer / importer and ask for a black one to be made or imported - maybe one with a glass window this time, it'll be worth the $50+ price

    Anyway I'm very happy

I was at Michael's last night looking for this exact thing. I keep buying straps from @MoclovFlop and @SkunkPrince and now all my drawers are full. You guys are saving me again -- not my wallet of course -- but my mind. I might look into that wooden one on Amazon, might just be perfect. But what is that one you have @WYO_Watch?

I've got something like this, but only the small organizer bins. Mine has 60 small bins. Holds all of my small watch related bits so I know everything is in one place.

Display? Not so much. Hold a ton of straps on the cheap? Absolutely.

I have that same exact thing and I do use it for watch parts. And everything else in my office: Poker chips, drill bits, computer parts, screw drivers, wires, wire nuts, business cards, you name it. lol

Now I'm going to get one too, but a really challenging thing to buy online, good ones are very expensive and bad ones sometimes have a lifetime toxic smell

I picked up these cigar boxes for few dollars when I happened to walk past a cigar shop. They’re not great for display or organization, but you can throw a handful of leather straps in there and they smell great.

That's what we use. Loads of them. Takes me about an hour to locate that particular watch I'm looking for. For large amounts of watch storage we have big plastic tupperware containers. Yes our watch hoarding is out of control. That's a bit strange our watch hoarding since our homes always have a minimal tropical zen style to them. It's only watches that are out of control :D

Watches are very ideal to channel hoarding instincts to: as they occupy very little space

By the way, I still have that box set too :D
