For the vintage Seamaster 300 that was sold on a Tropic strap... did it have the buckle as supplied by Tropic or did Omega supply a signed buckle?

    Thanks

    Tom

I dont know if they ever sold the 300 on a tropic strap in the 60ties. But the vintage 16mm Omega buckle with the applied Logo should fit nicely.

I believe they only came on a steel band or (rarely?)leather. Tropics would have been after market.

Firstly a hello to all at Omega Forums.

I have been lurking on this site since November and guess it is time to join in. I will do an intro in the next week or so when I am back from a trip away.

In the meantime I just wanted to answer Tom's question regarding Tropic straps as an original Omega option for the 1960s SM300.

I originally posted the link below on TZ-UK in 2012 (my user name on TZ-UK is Jack Norman) and you will see that this was an option in France so I guess other countries too.

I would be interested if anyone has any catalogue or advertisement pics showing the leather option.
