Hi everyone.

I need your help.

I’ve been an active Omega enthusiast for quite a few years now and this community have enabled me to confidently distinguish between good and rubbish when it comes to vintage Omega. Now I’m branching out for the first time and I’ve become interested in this Top Time ref 810.

It is an early MK1 example with a monocoque case.
From what I can tell the watch appears as a nice and correct example, but I am no expert.

At first I was unsure about the placement of the lume plots. Other examples I saw had the plots further out on the dial, but I’ve since found a couple of other examples with the lume right next to the indicies.

Hands, pushers and crown look original and correct to me when comparing with similar references.

The case might be a bit soft, but I have a hard time telling as these cases are a bit rounded to begin with.

Please let me know if you see any red og yellow flags on the watch.

I agree. I’m not too worried about the polishing. Just wanted to make sure nothing more problematic was going on with the watch.

The crown looks a bit too thick and flat to be from the original mark 1.1 case.

Agree. Thanks for pointing it out. 👍
