·Breitling SuperOcean Abyss A17364. 42mm. Fresh from service.
Returned from Breitling service in February and worn a couple times.
The perfect daily watch.
About this model:
The Breitling SuperOcean Abyss A17364 is a bold, modern dive watch that merges Breitling’s aviation heritage with serious underwater performance. Originally launched as part of the SuperOcean 42 line, the “Abyss” nickname refers to its colorful inner chapter ring - a vibrant design twist that sets it apart from typical monochrome dive watches.
Key Specs:
Case: 42mm stainless steel
Thickness: ~15mm
Lug Width: 20mm
Bezel: Unidirectional rotating bezel with raised rider tabs and a ratcheting action
Dial: Gloss black dial with bold applied Arabic numerals, baton indices, and a vibrant colored inner ring (commonly in yellow, red, blue, or orange - this is the “Abyss” highlight) in this case, WHITE inner ring.
Crystal: Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides
Movement: Breitling Caliber 17 (based on the ETA 2824-2) - COSC-certified chronometer, automatic with ~40-hour power reserve
Water Resistance: 1500 meters / 5000 feet
Crown: Screw-down
Caseback: Solid stainless steel, engraved with Breitling’s signature styling
Why It's Special:
Extreme Water Resistance: Rated to 1500 meters, the A17364 is overbuilt for even the most hardcore diving needs.
COSC Certified: Like most Breitlings, the movement is chronometer-certified for excellent accuracy.
Condition:
The watch was shipped to Breitling service center for a full overhaul service and returned Feb. 2025 with a full servicing, light polishing, and a new Crystal. This watch is in very nice restored condition and the rubber strap is essentially new.
The adjustable deployant clasp has seen some some desk diving but would be an easy polish. (Not sure why Breitling didn't give it a polish, likely because I didn't ask, I usually don't).
The movement winds smoothly, sets properly and keeps great time.
The rubber Strap and will fit a 8" wrist or cut to fit smaller. I ordered it from Breitling while I waited for Breitling service to return the watch so it's been worn maybe 3x.
Included:
~service records (service cost me $1006), full warranty through Breitling.
~ service box and polishing cloth.
~Breitling rubber Strap with adjustable deployant clasp
~Will include another lightly worn Breitling rubber strap that is 1 link shorter than this one.
I have too many black divers so this one is ready to wear for years to come for the new owner.
I've been collecting watches for decades and I am very meticulous about taking good care of my watches.
I've got 6 nearly identical pieces and if one of them sells first, I will likely keep this one.
Price:
$2600 with insured shipping included.
Prefer a US sale but would entertain other countries, please PM me in this case.
Will be professionally packed for safe shipping.
I've been selling successfully on this and other forums and platforms for many years and have plenty of references.
Please see the photos for condition and feel free to ask for more if necessary.
Thanks for looking, please reach out with questions.
