    Honest piece, used as intended. Dates to 1945. Case is a candidate for replating, dial is good for the age. Unsigned movement is correct for serial number. 179 was the slim version. Seeing you got it for under asking price was a plus. NOS go for no more than $1200...
    All in all, good pickup.
