Is anyone here a proud owner of one of these?

IMHO it's one fine looking watch and I've always felt like this watch is a good value; all else being equal.

Frankly, I'd be interested in reading any opinions regarding this watch even if you don't own one...

    Thank you.

    Hi Ludi,

I'm looking at the "Transatlantique", model 3820 which I believe would be the modern rendition.

    Thanks!

If you are asking about the true badass Breguet type xx, I will highly recommend one. I have handled a modern rendition belonging to a friend, I can say I don't feel much about it. Of course for the price of the vintage, you have a lot more choices of high end modern timepieces.

Exactly right. Like in most modern heritage editions, the shiny, sparkly bits turn me off. They seem a poor trade-off for patina.

    Hi,
I own one of the Breguet Type XX Aéronavale 100th anniversary limited edition pieces and it just so happens that I am offering the watch for sale.
The reason is simply that I have a 1971 Omega Speedmaster c861 that I wear for everyday use without the worry of knocking it, whereas with the Breguet I feel that I need to be more aware.
For special occasions however it will be the Breguet everytime.
    PM me for details.
