Breguet Chronograph from the 50´s

Hello, and to begin with, sorry for the bad English.

I´m thinking about buying this breguet, but isn´t it strange with that the movement isn´t signed, and the that the Writing of the breguet isn´t in it´s typical logo?

It feels like that the movement is for another Watch. (Is the valjoux 72c?)
Even the Writing of the "B1394" isn´t the same on both the movement and the caseback.

I really apriciate your help!

More than a few vintage Breguet on the market are fakes, including the one that you have shown.

If you think that watch has any relationship to Breguet, you need to do a lot more research before buying a watch from anyone other than an AD.

Is that an Angelus 215 movement? @LouS ?

EDIT; looking more closely, it´s not Angelus...

Attitude, like many other mannerisms, is hard to determine when looking at a line of text on a computer screen.

This is exacerbated when people are from different societies and don't use the same language.

If you thought the watch was a fake, you should have stated it in the first instance so that we could either concur or rebut.

A comment like @calalum posted is well understood by many of the regulars here and is similar to a mate at the pub giving you a nudge in the ribs and some well meant "hard advice".

Hopefully you'll get over the comment and continue to participate in one of the best watch forums on the planet.

And the Universe!

First off, thin skinned people should not be allowed on the internet. It seems they go looking for ways to be offended. Don't be one of them.

Second, you said nothing of thinking it was fake - in fact, you said you were thinking of buying it which is quite the opposite.

Third, just a small bit of research / Googling about the history of Breguet's wristwatches would have saved you the embarrassment of this thread.

Thanks. I've not only been working on being less blunt, but I've also got a cold and don't have the energy to give my usual virtual aluminum bat treatment.

i wouldn't make the conclusion that its a fake because the movement is unsigned, in auction catalogues from some great Breguet sales in the 80s you vill find similar watches.
Dial is not toutched.
The case altso have some very unusual quality signs not shown on photo for ex the screwed tape fasternes(sorry goggle translation)
It was sold 6 months ago on auction and i was the underbidder, its only a question about price.
