With a ceramic DON bezel. That should keep the hoarders of the original DONs onside.

Will the 50 years Apollo 13 Speedmaster be such a watch ?
Looks like a Speedmaster chronograph toolwatch should look like !
55 hours power reserve... but how does the DOT 90 bezel differ from the 1960s version ?

Looks good, however Omega UK website doesn't yet have a price online, but exchange rate from CHF would be just over £10k, maybe a bit rich for me.

But thinking about it, I could always sell a couple of my current collection... hmmmm

NO mention of NASA on this Moonwatch 😗
.
indeed, although there're plenty Ed Butt photos available 😁

...
Seriously, Omega took the right decision to bring out a 100% classic looking Speedmaster without added patina but with 55 hours power reserve!

The lume is patina-ed but we're seeing that a lot these days and it doesn't detract from the attractiveness IMHO.

Moreover... hoping for such a modern 321 50 years Apollo 13 Speedmaster chronograph looking like this but with crown guards and hesalite glass without any added patina

It's very nice indeed. But at 2x the price of a 60th anniversary and 3x the price of a FOIS, I prefer these last 2 options. Maybe it's due to the fact that I don't get the appeal of the 321 vs. 1861.

Seems a strange time to release this watch though, 5 years time it will be 60 years of Gemini IV and a perfect time to release this watch..

No fan of sapphire on a Speedmaster.

Deal breaker!!

Kinda agree. With a fair dial (like the ck2998s), it's not too bothering as there is not too much reflection. With a dark dial (like the FOIS), indeed, it kinda kills the look.

Yippee, zero magnetic resistance! (unless the mvmt is made of some antimag material? I doubt..)

Yeah, wondering how bad the sapphire halo will be in person (ie, not in a promo photo).

It does look a bit peculiar. The sapphire crystal gives the effect of the SWISS MADE attached to the bezel. Probably a distinctive halo riming the crystal as well.
