Monochrome just posted this:

https://monochrome-watches.com/swat...-watch-fair-in-zurich-during-baselworld-2019/

Following up from Reuters:
https://www.reuters.com/article/swi...el-to-move-to-consecutive-weeks-idUSL8N1YN580

I was all excited when I read the headline and was even thinking of perhaps even visiting the event...Zurich is much more accessible and offers much better accommodation.馃榾

BUT

Apparently this is a retailers only event with no press invited. 馃檨

I imagine the retailers will all have NDAs. Not sure if Swatch are going to be doing press releases or just keeping a closed doors environment. Of course it would make sense to show off some new releases and steal the thunder from SIHH / Basel releases in March.

So for Omega fans you can be sure that some lucky retailer will see the Speedy 50th LE(s) in March...I suppose we could all pitch in on the OF to create an irresistible seduction package and truth serum drugs to get some local AD to spill the beans馃榿

Or does anyone here have a significant other who manages a omega boutique?

I believe Omega knows about the importance of their enthousiasts and will involve them in some or the other way...

If Swatch group were smart they should announce the Omega releases right here on Omega Forums. This is the new world.
Or they will do it through Hodinkee, which will know how to put a positive spin on it and funnel it directly to the target crowd.
