·Fellow members,
I have not been in the pocket watch game at all before, and after I was offered to look through some in my grandfather’s collection, I discovered this. I cannot locate anything about it but I presume it’s by Louis Brandt & Frère, thus I am here.
It is missing a top lid, but I tried to take as many pictures of all the markings on the watch. The mechanism on the back does not have a serial number but the case does. All the similar watches I have found online do not use a key, so I was confused.
In regard to the markings, I understand that it is made from silver, but that is about it. I would really ask for any help regarding the age of this pocket watch and any of its history. If you need anymore information or pictures, please let me know.
