Bracelet reference advice please

Hi guys. I'm new here and feel a bit cheeky just barging in with a question, but pleased to meet you all, my name is Rob.

I got a dirt cheap connie

Which i guess is the none -integrated version of

So...I like to have all my Omegas on metal bracelets. I'm not really a leather strap guy. And the correct bracelet if possible.

Unfortunately I can't open the back of the gold connie as the screws are 'screwed' i guess. But the watch is running fine and stuff, so I'll have someone sort this later. But this means I don't know the correct reference of the watch. So I can't really find out the correct end link and bracelet reference.

So my questions are. Do any of you know the reference of the watch? but most importantly, what is a good end link reference and bracelet reference(s) for this model please.

Thanks so much for any help or advice you can give..

Rob

So the top one is a 168.0058 Constellation, I wrote about those recently here: https://stories.omegaforums.net/jumbo-tv-dial-constellation-168-0058-cal-1011/

In the case and bracelet section you can see a few of the bracelet options, milanese mesh, one piece link, and integrated style bracelet. The one piece link Ref 1206 bracelet would be my personal pick.
Thanks dsio. I'll have a good read of your article. is this the bracelet you mean? what end links would I need to make that compatible? Thanks

I actually like all the metal bracelets shown on your article page. do you have refrences and end link references for them? The milanese one is different to the chronostop one right?

Effectively anything that fills the 20mm endlinks will work so anything with straight ends should work, I’m not sure of all the endlinks though. Generics will work too like these:

https://unclestraps.com/en-au/colle...ucts/beads-of-rice-straight-end-bracelet-22mm

You just need one with thin enough ends to fit under the hooded lugs but most should fit

nah it's gotta be all omega original for me, nothing aftermarket. can't you just look at the numbers on your bracelets please or are not all the watches yours?

Anyway I liked the article and I agree these watches are overlooked and underrated, I had an opportunity to buy quite a few of these pretty cheap recently and did so. The gold one above was 300 dollars. The black integrated one was 600 it's not actually black though in strong light it's very dark sunburst green. Really nice piece with spider crackly dial, double signed with meister, Also has cyclops magnifier on the date (factory). oddly unlike rolex the magnifier bump goes inwards so the dial feels flat from the outside and the bump is inside. just really cool man and i'm sure these pieces will come back in fashion at some point as people are gradually beginning to appreciate vintage Omega much more. On the way i have another integrated one, this time is two tone bracelet with gold dial, 400 dollars. And also a gold capped (I think) similar to the gold above but with a lovely light blue dial (it's factory though, just highly unusual). They are really a steal right now a lot of the omegas, it's a great time to be a collector, a lot of people are way too focused on pie pan constellations but the brand has so much more weir and wonderful stuff to offfer.
