I have a nice 166.010 and would like to put it on an oyster-style steel bracelet complete with well-fitting end links.
I know that the beads of rice bracelet is the normal pairing, but was looking for a less-dressy option.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any after-market (generic) bracelets?

After checking around, I ended up buying this generic oyster bracelet ($20 on Amazon from Exact Timing) which worked great after pinching the end pieces a little.

My only complaint is that it looked too much like a Datejust.
I ended up putting it right back on the strap. I find that like many vintage Omegas, a strap emphasizes the attractive case features better.
20180718_182202.jpg I love the bold lugs, the wide bezel, crosshairs dial, the dauphine hands and the onyx-adorned markers. It's a shame they didn't keep this model around longer. A slightly bigger version would be nice.

The endpieces on that oyster bracelet do not look like they are sitting on very well despite your "pinching" :) Looks great on that leather strap!

Thank you!....and that is correct...the curve of the lugs are flatter... I didn't feel like re-contouring the endpieces, it was a "close-enough" kind of thing...

Would be nice to identify 18mm end links to be able to use the 1069 or 1098 bracelets from the 19mm day date model ;)
